Iris Lin is an abstract artist based in New York City. As a former top 10 nationally ranked junior tennis player, a full scholarship NCAA Division 1 athlete, and a recent law school graduate who persistently exercised her analytical side for over two decades, Iris now enjoys channeling her creative side through her art. She is inspired by her incessant love for landscape, architecture, and travels. The thoughts, emotions, and experiences that we may individually or collectively encounter in our lifetime also influence her work. Iris’ passion for creating art ultimately stems from her belief that it is a gateway to serenity and uninhibited expressiveness. Her other interests include pageantry (she was a Top 20 Miss New York USA contestant with two evening gown awards, an interview award, and a swimsuit award from her time competing), knitting, cooking, fashion, interior design, technology, coding, business, and most importantly spending time with her toy pomeranian puppy Potato.
